Lee Baron staff raise some dosh for gosh

Staff at Lee Baron have raised £746 for GOSH, the Evening Standard’s Christmas appeal for sick children being cared for at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Staff raised the money through a homemade cake sale, raffle, and Lee Baron’s customary Christmas Jumper Day.

Jonathan Tucker CIMA, MBA and Robert Kennedy have both joined Lee Baron from CBRE. 

Jonathan Tucker is appointed Client Accountant Team Leader and has more than 12 years’ experience working for both UK and international companies, successfully leading the financial function of client property portfolios.   His clients will include Kennedy Wilson Europe, who Lee Baron were appointed by earlier this year to manage part of the £503m UK portfolio acquired from Aviva, and Apollo Global Management.

The party, held last Tuesday at The Troxy in East London, is Rays of Sunshine’s main fundraising event and raised an incredible £625,000 on the evening.

Take That performed a 45 minute set in front of the crowd of 400 people but were upstaged by the Rays of Sunshine Wish Choir, made up of a group of inspirational and brave seriously ill children, who set the tone of the evening with a moving rendition of Michael Jackson’s, Heal the World.

Lee Baron was a proud sponsor of the Just Rifles 5th Annual Dinner & Dance, a fundraising event which is supported by London’s Property Industry.   Held on Thursday, 29 October at The Brewery in London’s Barbican, the night raised over £200,000 for soldiers injured in the line of duty. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening –listening to antidotes from former Tottenham Hotspur players, eating great food, and joining in with the sensible dancing at the end.

Dean has vast experience in all aspects of residential mixed use property management. He joined in August 2014 to expand Lee Barons’ Residential Mixed-Use sector.

Dean is an Associate at the Institute of Residential Property Management, and has managed a wide-range of high density mixed-use developments including new build phased developments for major house builders; managing site staff and regional teams across a variety of portfolios with up to 13,000 units; set up and first completions of sites to resolving disputes between parties in relation to service charge issues.

John is the IT Director who joined Lee Baron in 1989 as an IT consultant on a two week project, over 2 decades later he is still with the company.

He is passionate about paperless working, and was instrumental in fully integrating the Softology document management system into Lee Baron’s IT suite, marrying it seamlessly with QUBE property management software.  He has recently been responsible for moving all of our systems into the cloud as this is definitely the future for SMB enterprises in terms of DR, manageability and future scaling.

Patsy is Director of Property Management Finance. She started her property management career 30 years ago at Conrad Ritblat and Co. (now Colliers CRE).

Patsy stayed there for 12 years before moving to Cushman and Wakefield, where she was appointed Director and Head of Asset Management Accounts.

Patsy joined Lee Baron in October 2008 where she leads a team of 15, overseeing the various aspects of property management accounts to ensure RICS compliance and to provide a fast and effective accounting operation for clients.

Jody is an Associate and team leader in the Client Accounting team. Jody joined Lee Baron in February 2009 and has 10 years’ experience in property accounts. He has previously worked at Keningtons and Cushman and Wakefield, and is part ACCA qualified.

His team are responsible for controlling client funds held, complying with relevant legislation, and providing timely and accurate financial information. Jody has been involved in setting up systems to enable Lee Baron to produce full financial accounts reporting for clients.

Tony is an Associate Director and runs the Manchester Office with responsibility for management of all property in the Northern Region and is Sector Head responsible for Out of Town Retail and Northern Retail properties, as well as dealing with the management of a portfolio of retail properties, including shopping centres, and office buildings across the North.

Tony Ibbotson joined Lee Baron in 1996 as a management surveyor in the Manchester Office after working in local government and private practice.  

John Dembitz

Non-Executive Board Director

John is a non-executive director of Lee Baron Group, as well as chairman of Pelican Rouge, Incredibull, EAC Management, Senior Independent Director of Park Group, and a non-executive director of the National Association of Pension Funds and Winnmark Global. 

After graduating with his MBA, John joined McKinsey, followed by Executive Director positions with Amey Roadstone and Charterhouse Bank. In 1985, he was appointed CEO of Valin Pollen, a corporate and financial communications consultancy. From 1990 to 1996 he built IDOM, a banking/IT consultancy sold to Deloitte & Touche.

John has a BSc Hons from Manchester University and an MBA from London Business School, where he is also a member of the Global Advisory Council.
